abstract The work presents issues concerning physical modeling of particles injection having different densities, at various position of the lance as well as variable parameters of the two-phase stream into water. The results of researches were presented on the photographs. They are the basis for optimal parameters of particles injection defining with aluminum based composite matrix. The researches were conducted at a stand shown at Fig. 1. Its main part is the pneumatic transportation highpressure feeder with cyclic work. The researches were conducted by introducing of one-phase stream with various velocity into liquid (Fig. 2) and two-phase stream - polystyrene + carrier gas (Fig. 3 and 4). It is very important to find out the interaction of stream into liquid metal. The depth of stream penetration depending on way insertion of the lance and the material and gas flow rate is of great importance. In summary the influence of the most important parameters on stream character in liquid were discussed.
