abstract The project shows the results of researches of the flow of polypropylene composite with talc during the filling the mould. The results of the injection molding computer simulations were compared with the results of video recording, the flow of polymer composite in duration of the filling phase. The form allows direct monitoring of the phenomena inside the forming socket in two planes. Digital video camera has been used to record the flow. The specialist mould witch enables the observation and recording of the flow of polymer composite in processing was used. Moldflow Plastic Insight ver 4.1, professional computer program was used to simulation researches. The results of researches enabled documentation of specific occurrences in injection molding process of polymer composite and comparison of those results with the results of numerical calculations. The tests hale been performer for a very wide range of injection moulding conditions but in the paper only chosen results were shown. Problems of flowing round the semicircular barrier by the polymer stream have been presented as the example.
