abstract It is difficult, if not impossible, to describe geometrically the reinforcement of metal-infiltrated composites, consisting of disordered ceramic fibres. The paper presents a method of determining the technological characteristic of the reinforcement. The characteristic makes up a basis for determining basic parameters of the infiltration process: pressure and time.
