abstract The results of examinations of the influence of cut glass fiber content in PA6 composites on the stress intensity factor have been presented in this article. The RESTRAMID polyamide 6 and composites warp material with glass fiber was used in this work. Composite with a maximum content of 25% of glass fiber was produced at the two screw extruder in POLIMARKY Rzeszów company. Other composites containing glass fiber 5, 10, and 15% of the injection molding machine manufactured at the company KRAUSS MAFFEI KM 65-160 C4 by adding to the composites with the maximum content of fillers to the PA6. Tests results of influence of cut glass fiber type E consist in composites of polyamide 6 for value of tension intensity coefficient were presented in this development. For the tests the polyamide 6 was used with commercial name RESTRAMID and composites on matrix of this well known constructional plastic from group of thermoplastics with glass fiber. The composite with maximal content of glass fiber i.e. 25% were produced on twin-screw extrusion machine on industrial production line in the POLIMARKY company in Rzeszów. The rest remaining composites with content of glass fiber of 5, 10, 15 and 20% were produced on injection machine type KRAUSS MAFFEI KM 65-160 C4 through addition of proper quantity of PA6 to composites with maximal contents of fillers. Samples for tests of crack resistance type SENB ( Single Edge Notch Bend) were produced by method of injection with help of two-cavities injection mould designed and manufactured in a frames of the research project 4 T08 E 032 23. The tests of crack resistance were carried out on resistance testing machine type Inspekt Desk 20 from the company equipped with fixture for three-points bending. As far as crack resistance was adopted by a critical value of stress intensity factor. The place of intersection of the secant PQ performance graph sets. The impact of graphic content in the form of talc filler on the stress intensity factor KQ in PA6 composites was presented. The physical modification, consisting by adding 25% glass fibres to polyamide matrix, caused 47% crack resistance increase.
